Influencer Marketing Account Executive

Location: New York preferred but open
Reports to: SVP Sales
Compensation: Salary plus Commission
Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize and grow the Social Standard brand and its product offering to the digital advertising community
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers at media, social, and PR agencies as well as brands directly
  • Generate RFP opportunities through meetings and correspondence with target accounts
  • Be a digital branded content and influencer expert, taking a consultative approach to the sales process
  • Create and pitch proposals including custom brand content, digital media, and influencer campaigns leveraging TF’s network of top family-friendly influencers
  • Close new accounts, identify revenue-driving opportunities, and create renewable business
  • Guide campaign process including overseeing contracts and IOs, leading kickoff calls, and providing general client support from beginning to end of each campaign

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to work in a start-up environment
  • Motivated self-starter comfortable with significant autonomy, working remotely, and being part of a small team
  • Strong background in influencer marketing sales (2+ years’ experience)
  • Media agency experience a big plus but not required
  • Extensive Rolodex of client-side and agency relationships looking to target a family-friendly audience
  • Established track record of closing business with both agencies and client-side directly
  • Thorough understanding of the online video marketplace, particularly YouTube and the influencer space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate story-teller with the ability to pitch integrated video advertising solutions to top decision makers
  • Problem-solution oriented
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to build sales decks and media plans
  • Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing industry and business
  • Willingness to travel as needed
